Wonderful boutique hotel. Lovely staff, perfect room with beautiful views and stunning views beds, for example. Delicious dishes, central location in the pub next door for dinner. Adjacent to the sunny conservatory overlooking the Loch, supermarket and postoffice and the lake side.

Amazing, amazing, amazing.

The views of Loch Long from my room were out of this world. I adored starting each morning with a delicious, cooked-to-order breakfast that fueled my adventures in the fine surroundings. Plus, the thoughtful detail of having binoculars in the room meant I could soak in every exquisite detail of the landscape right from my cozy corner 🌄

A comfortable family room offered a beautiful view of the loch. The cooked breakfast was a highlight, with a wide range of options to choose from. The soundproofing could be better as noises from other rooms were noticeable, and the Wi-Fi connection was unreliable in our room. Dining next door was decent but fell short of expectations, with the food being rather average.

The charming decoration and cozy ambiance of the Lochside Guest House made it feel warm and inviting, perfectly accessible for seniors like me to enjoy the surroundings without any hassle.

Great stay with fine loch views

Had a nice 4 nights here. My room was roomy and warm, with fantastic views over the loch. The shower had killer pressure, tho it was slightly blocked at first. The staff were super friendly-helped me get in late and gave me a bigger room. Great pub nearby for decent food too! Just wish the service was a bit more attentive.

Good place with free wi-fi in rooms, 24-hour security, and a lovely outdoor dining area. The staff were helpful with directions on my first stay. I'll be back for a romantic escape!

Family with children, A great stay with fine views

The views of the loch from our room were nothing short of amazing, like something out of a dream. The breakfast was filling, with all the hearty options you could imagine, perfect for my family to start the day right.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but for the experience, I'd say it was reasonable.

The radiator took a while to heat up was good. The advertised guest Wi-Fi was another snag. The provided network name never connected, which left me feeling a bit disconnected. I also found a cleaning oversight in the cupboard, where remnants from a previous guest lingered, indicating a need for sharper housekeeping. While the soup was flavorful, it came out on the cold side, along with rubbery rolls that could've used a little extra care in their preparation. The experience had its highlights, but attention to detail could use some fine-tuning.
